From smugglers dens along the East Suffolk coastline, through punk dives and back bars of Ye Olde Ipswich Towne they have come. Armed to the teeth with infectious new tunes brimming over with hooks galore in search of new horizons…. East Town Pirates arrrgh here!!! 

Their sell out gigs have audiences also turning up in full pirate outfits, their stage show is never dull, costumes, stage props and crowd participation are the norm at their shows. This is voodoo pirate rock ‘n roll at its best, pulling in influences from rock, punk and glam. Since the release of their 4 track EP earlier this year the East Town Pirates have secured a bounty of gigs including support for American rockers Y&T. BBC Radio airplay and interview soon followed with a BBC Radio session already planned. At the time of writing their debut album is recorded and is awaiting release, hopefully in time for their date at Water Rats.
