Lonsdale Boys Club

Somewhere down a cobbled street in west London you’ll find the Lonsdale Boys Club hideout, where anyone with a penchant for beat driven guitar greatness need apply. Inside, unintentionally epitomizing the diversity of this here city they reside in, it’s reggae club promoter Charlie, New Zealand export Topher, and beats aficionado Loz, together making up the Lonsdale Boys Club trio, delivering a new wave of guitar-led aural pleasure.

Garnering heat for their recent bootleg mix of Gorillaz ‘Doncamatic’ and mixtape series, which will take avid listeners through their influences (the garage installment is up next), their imminent debut single ‘Light Me Up’ looks set to make more of the right noise. Where the lyrics are concerned (“I’m on a roll, I’m on fire. Champagne and burnt out tyres” becoming something of a trademark) it’s all about marrying the rough with the smooth.
