Monto

One day we kissed our loved ones goodbye, stuffed our clothes in a felt sack and started walking. Looking back at our hometown from a distance, we saw lots of things we didn't like and that we were glad to leave behind. Looking ahead, the road seemed endless and a little bit scary too.  We have met people who've welcomed us and offered us their food, and people who have tried to hurt us. The weather hasn't always been merciful and sometimes we've woken up in barns to mice chewing our hair.
