Deltorers

The Deltorers were formed by Nathan Evans and Brenden Frankham in early January 2010. Originally a two-piece act, (Nathan- Drums/ vocals), (Brenden- Bass), the Bournemouth duo gave listeners a flashback to 90’s grunge, culminating in their distinct high energy grungy and alternative sound. Creating a fan base throughout South England, many local labels expressed interest in the duo, including Honey Bee and End of Trail Records.

Looking to spread their sound and musical horizons, the band travelled to Sydney, Australia in November 2010. It was there they met Australian drummer, Ben Hampton, who began rehearsing with the Evans and Frankham. The three discovered an instant chemistry. The band began writing and rehearsing new material. With the addition of a drummer, Evans adopted the role of guitarist/lead singer, giving the band a whole new world of creative options sonically.

Playing many important shows throughout Sydney, notably The Annandale Hotel, the trio gained a large and diverse following. Given the opportunity to record at the prestigious 301 Studios in Sydney, the band tracked a three-song demo. This demo was praised by Queens of the Stone Age, whilst on their Australian tour in March 2011.

Having accomplished a great amount in a short period, the band moved back to their homeland to continue this international hype. Now based in Bristol, United Kingdom, The Deltorers are playing at well known venues such as The Fleece, The Croft and The Louisiana.

The trio will release their much anticipated EP in early February 2012. With backing from international music promoters and managers, The Deltorers are definitely a band to watch out for in 2012.
